The most important event in a Slavic community is the bridal meeting, which is generally celebrated in spring, summer or fall. It was a time for celebration and joy, as it marked the beginning of the new life. When the wedding leaves her parents ‘ house, she takes with her a shawl that she should retain, not to give away or let anyone touch. The couple’s family tested the bride by asking her questions and requesting water from her. If they placed money on a box, the wedding would provide them waters or answer their issues.
